ONE DEAD AS VEHICLE LANDS IN ROOF OF BUILDING

At approximately 12:30 Tuesday morning South Montgomery County Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle off the Woodlands Parkway flyover and on top of the vet clinic.
On arrival, it was determined that the Pontiac G* actually came from the southbound feeder and gone airborne landing nose first into the roof of the
Ultra Bodies business.
The ladder truck was positioned and firefighters slowly began working to free the young victim. This was hampered by the utilities still being on and the poor condition of the damaged building.
It was then determined that Shaun Michael Finley age 21, of Spring, had in fact passed away.
Don with Milstead Heavy Duty was called on and after hooking to the vehicle lowered it to the ground.
The building was severely damaged. With the roof collapsing, water lines ruptured and electrical wires torn out the building was sealed off.
Trooper Wheless with the Texas Department of Public Safety said the vehicle was southbound when he hit the curb and started flipping end over end. the last flip put him at the lower edge of the roof which then vaulted the vehicle to the top of the roof.
The feeder was closed until after 7 am as the investigation of this single-car accident continued.
