Friday was Sheriff Doolittle’s 52nd birthday. To celebrate everyone got together and decided to get his skeet shoot fundraiser for his campaign back in gear. It was canceled last year when we were hit by the floods. Everything had been sitting waiting for the right time. Several hundred people attended his now-called First Annual Skeet Shoot at Black Woods Sporting Range on FM 2854. With over 100 acres of land, twelve stations were set and the multiple teams of four spent the day on the range. Some of the shooters were dead on with at least three getting 100%. Others, well, there was a prize for that, DEAD-ASS Last.
After the event, Joe’s Italian in Conroe served up a fantastic Italian meal.
