Cleveland Police Department has confirmed the identity of the deceased victim involved in the fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred in the 1600 block of East Houston Street on Tuesday morning, January 5, 2021.
The victim is identified as Amber Nichelle Collins, age 22, of Splendora, Texas. Amber was last seen at a local bar here in Cleveland, and investigators are interested in speaking with the management of this establishment. Investigators are also encouraging anyone who may have any further knowledge of Amber’s whereabouts just prior to the crash to contact the Criminal Investigation Division of the Cleveland Police Department at (281) 592-1185.
Chief Broussard stated, “this is such a tragic accident, and the loss of such a young life; rips at your heart”. “Our sincere prayers and deepest sympathy go out to Amber’s family”.
