Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
(the sound of Fox, flying around)
That saved a wretch like me
(my boots on the ground, Fox’s light shining brightly, through the trees)
I once was lost, but now I’m found
(for nothing reverberates, like Fox’s dedicated sound)
I was blind but now I see
(by God’s Grace and Fox above, out of the forest and through the trees, my life was saved and owed, unto thee)
Was Grace that taught my heart to fear
(but calm always came, whenever Fox was near…)
And Grace, my fears relieved
(whereby my Brother’s love, was revealed, unto me)
How precious did that Grace appear
(for with Fox above, no evil did I fear)
The hour I first believed
(Whenever Fox’s song would play, my heart was always relieved)
Through many dangers, toils and snares…
(with Fox’s light shining brilliant and bright, there’s never a night, I have worries or cares)
We have already come
(we’ve done what had to be done)
T’was Grace that brought us safe thus far…
(with no bounds, no limits, Houston’s Fox was always there, raising the bar)
And Grace will lead us home
(whether near or far, from our old Astrodome)
And Grace will lead us home
(for the skies above Houston, shall the Fox, forever roam)
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
(miles and miles we’ve traveled here in the brilliant blue skies, far above the ground)
That saved a wretch like me
(Fox’s Flight was to reveal, setting me free)
I once was lost, but now I’m found
(please do not grieve for me, standing up, only to look down)
Was blind but now I see
(dry your eyes, look to Houston’s skies, for it is there you shall forevermore, find me)
Was blind but now I see
(all along, my wife and children’s love allowed me the opportunity to be the Fox and the Fox, to forevermore be me…)
Written with sincere reverence and respect, out of a Brother’s love.
