Just before 9:00 p.m. Splendora Fire Department was dispatched to a two car accident on Morgan Cemetery at Crossno. When they arrived they found a Jeep Compass and a Daewoo both with heavy front end damage and two two occupants trapped in the Daewoo. As firefighters worked to free Jose Carachuri, age 51 of Cleveland and Ana Maria Carachuri, age 52, both of Cleveland. MCHD worked to stabilize the driver of the Jeep Kendal Cox, age 21 of Cleveland.
All three were transported in stable condition. According to DPS Trooper Zandt, the Jeep was northbound on Crossno and told her as he approached the intersection of Morgan Cemetery he heard a pop and his wheels wouldn’t turn. He went into the westbound lane of Morgan Cemetery where he struck the Daewoo.
