As DPS troopers worked an accident at Gulf Coast Road and FM 1314 another accident took place just a few miles down the road.
Just after 5pm Marshall Robinson of Conroe was southbound on Gulf Coast Road when he ran off onto tthe unimproved shoulder, over corrected, crossed Gulf Coast and struck a tree.
Caney Creek Fire Department worked over thirty minutes to free Robinson. The roof collapsed down over him and the dashboard trapped his legs. He was conscious and talking the entire time as medics stood by for firefighters to free him.
No other vehicles were involved and the accident investigation continues by Texas Department of Public Safety.
