On October 8, 2025, a Deputy with Pct. 2 Constable David Eason’s Office attempted to conduct a traffic stop on 2nd Street in Conroe, however, the vehicle failed to yield, and a short pursuit was initiated.

The deputy eventually made contact with the driver, identified as Clifford Lloyd, 45, of Conroe. During the course of the investigation, deputies located items that field-tested positive for methamphetamine, weighing approximately 27 grams.

Lloyd was taken into custody and charged with:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Penalty Group 1 (4g < 200g)

• Evading in a Motor Vehicle
