MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- Around 1:30 a.m. on April 10, Conroe Police Department responded to the Circle K store the 5600 block of W. Davis in reference to a sexual assault of the store clerk that just occurred. Officers met with the 23-year-old white female victim who appeared traumatized and claimed to have been sexually assaulted inside the store. Patrol Officers quickly got the victim medical attention and began the initial investigation which consisted of securing the scene, searching for evidence and reviewing security footage. Using intelligence-based policing, Patrol Officers identified a possible suspect and suspect vehicle.
A few hours later, Patrol Officers tracked the suspect vehicle to 1420 N. Loop 336 W where they detained the suspect, 22-year-old Logan Michael Parker.
Patrol Officers transported Parker to the Conroe Police station where he was interviewed by Detectives. Parker was later placed under arrest and transported to the Montgomery County Jail for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.
Conroe Police Chief Jon Buckholtz is proud of the Officers for their tremendous effort and the use of intelligence-based policing to get this violent offender off the streets. Chief Buckholtz would also like to thank the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and the Real Time Crime Center for their assistance in this case. The investigation is currently ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
