AFTERNOON RAIN BRINGS FLOODING AND ACCIDENTS

Montgomery County got various amounts of rain Sunday afternoon. Some was welcome and some not so welcome. At 5:00pm TXDOT crews were out having to set signs and barricades for high water. In East County along US59 water collected mostly in construction area.  On Interstate 45 southbound just south of SH242 all three lanes were curb deep in water. Northbound at the SH242 exit the same situation existed.

Conroe police worked an accident on Interstate 45 Northbound feeder at Crighton where a vehicle rolled over closing the southbound feeder for a short time.
