The aviation community and Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport KCXO are part of an airlift of flood relief of massive proportions.
Aviators Helping South Texas – Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts Facebook has been created.
There is a Web site www.aviatorshelpingsouthtexas.com for pilots and others to register. Hangar space at the airport was donated for the efforts.
“This is an amazing relief effort that has taken off in very short time with the help of numerous local people and using our excellent county airport as an asset,” said County Judge Craig Doyal.
Pilots have responded by flying in supplies from around the nation.
