ALERT DEPUTY RECOVERS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF LAWN TRACTORS

Just after 4am Monday Shenandoah Officer Brockhoeft was  on his way south on Interstate 45 just south of FM 1488 spotted the gate at the Lansdowne Moody Tractor Sales open with fresh tire tracks coming out. He immediately notified the dispatcher to alert Conroe Police and started south on I-45 in search of a suspect.

Shenandoah Police immediately after hearing the call got out on I-45 and spotted a black pickup pulling a trailer with three new Kabota Zero-Turn Lawn Tractors on it. When he attempted to stop the vehicle it pulled to the side just south of Timberloch where two black males attempted to flee on foot. One was taken into custody immediately. The second fled into the woods behind the Kirby Steak House nears Woodlands Parkway. A K-9 is enroute as the a perimeter has been set around the area.

The 1999 Ford pickup was stolen from a female on Fuqua and I-45 in South Houston on Friday night. A friend of hers on his way to work this morning spotted the truck that was pulled over with the tractors and came back to advise officers of the Houston Police report on the truck. He said he has replaced locks six times on the truck after several theft attempts. The truck is popular with a 7.4 diesel engine.
