Late Friday afternoon on 7/21/17, Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables Office executed a narcotics search warrant at 5412 FM 1488 in Magnolia with assistance from the Precinct 3 Constable’s. As a result of the search warrant, deputies seized over 1.6 pounds of high grade marijuana, 293 Xanax pills, and 60 milliliters of liquid morphine, a firearm and over $13,000.00 in US Currency. A total of 5 individuals were arrested with multiple charges filed to include: Engaging in Organized Crime, Possession of Marijuana, Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Money Laundering. The five individuals arrested were identified as Ryan Griffin (24), Justin Griffin (26), Devon Gann (17), Rubben Summerford (36) and Trew Davidson (21) who was arrested for outstanding warrants. According to Captain Billy Masden, all five individuals are currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail and considers this successful search warrant another win for the residents of Montgomery County.
