One person is dead and two people are injured after a head-on collision north of Anderson.
The wreck took place Monday around 8:30 p.m. on Highway 90 north of FM 244 and involved at least two vehicles, according to DPS.
Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell said the accident involved a pick-up and a sedan that hit head on. One person was dead on the scene. One victim was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan by PHI Air Medical. Another went to the same hospital in an ambulance.
The identities of those involved have not been released by authorities.
Portions of Hwy 90 were closed following the wreck as first responders and investigators worked at the scene.
