The Texas Department of State Health Services notified our office that another case of West Nile Virus has been reported in Liberty County.
Once again we ask citizens to remember to use an approved insect repellent while outdoors,preferably one containing DEET.
It is also important to drain items outside that tend to collect water, wear long sleeves and long pants at dawn and dusk when mosquitoes are most active, and repair damaged screens in order to keep mosquitoes out of your home.
