Just after 11:30 am, Friday, Kimberly Ann Dove, 54, of Montgomery was traveling west on I-10 six miles west of Sonora in West Texas in her 2007 Honda Accord, when her vehicle left the roadway into the center median for unknown reasons. Dove overcorrected, attempting to get back on the roadway, and went into a side skid. Her vehicle skidded back across the main lanes, through the ditch and the driver’s side slammed into a tree. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash was investigated by a Texas Highway Patrol trooper with assistance from the Sutton County Sheriff’s Office, Sonora Fire, and Sonora EMS.
