Almost 250 boats and over 1000 people attended the AquaPalooza music fest this weekend on Lake Conroe at the Palms Marina.
As promised Montgomery County District Attorney Bret Ligon along with Precinct 1 Constables Lake Patrol, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and almost 25 Game Wardens patrolled the roads and waterways of Montgomery County as no refusal weekend.
There were no serious accidents or injuries on the lake but several were taken into custody for Boating While Intoxicated as Judge Patrice McDonald issued warrants for four suspects to have their blood drawn after they refused a breathalyzer..
During the no-refusal event there were six BWI cases and 2 DWI cases filed. However outside that time frame were several more.

In addition to this Trooper McGilbery arrested Gregorio Lopez of Houston on a Harris County warrant of Intoxicated Manslaughter with a vehicle.
