SOUTH MONTGOMERY COUNTY- In addition to the wave of armed robberies at banks in the southern part of the county, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating the robbery of an individual around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Lt. Dan Norris confirmed the victim stated she was robbed while in her car in the parking lot of the Woodland Meadows Apartments in the 25300 block of Budde Road.
The victim told deputies she was robbed at gunpoint of her money and her Blackberry. She described her assailants as three black males and one black female in a maroon SUV, possibly a Pontiac Aztec. The vehicle was last seen southbound on I-45.
Shots were reportedly fired, but no one was hit. No further information was available on Sunday.
The search for the robbers is continuing.
