Conroe Police have announced the arrest of the shooter involved in the shooting on October 17, , 2010 in the 200 block of Oak. The 57-year-old male opened a curtain on the front door as someone knocked. The shooter shot him once through the window in the head. He died at the scene.
According to witnesses a light skinned black male in his late teens or early twenties was seen knocking at the door and then shot through it.
The week prior to that at a home across the street a woman answered a knock and a shot was fired through a closed door missing her.
There will be a press conference this afternoon to discuss the arrest.
