On September 17, 2014 the Exxon at Walden Road and Highway 105 West was robbed by a white male and a black male. Both males walked into the store just before 4 a.m.with scarves and bandanas over their faces. Both males carrying what appeared to be shotguns ordered the clerk to turn over the cash from the register. It was then a vehicle pulled into the parking lot, causing the suspects to flee on foot.
The clerk left the business and summoned the security guard in the parking lot of the Walden Walmart. Conroe Police were called and responded to the scene.
Since then Conroe detectives have been hard at work in locating the male. Tuesday that paid off as they arrested Travis Earl Walker, 21, of 22205 Sharp Road in Montgomery. Walker is in the Montgomery County Jail on a $50,000 bond and is charged with aggravated robbery with a weapon.
