On November 5th, at approximately 11am Constable Sam Houston , Deputy J. Snipes made entry on heavily locked property located in Oak Forest Subdivision off Fm 2025 in San Jacinto County and made a seizure on 6 horses, one which had to be put down on location due to abuse by Dr. Kris Anderson DVM associated with SPCA Houston…

Investigators with SPCA Houston led by Investigator Wilson assisted in this joint effort.
Tips came in Constable 3 office on 11-04. After investigation and on view information from an officer at Constable 3 office, Seizure warrant was obtained and afterward Cruelty to Livestock Animal’s warrant was affected.

Several horses, a dog, and a cat were removed from the location and are in care and custody of the SPCA Houston office.

It was a pleasure rescuing these helpless animals and we appreciate the support and quick action we received from the SPCA.

Animal cruelty is a CRIME and we are thankful we were able to bring comfort and relief to these…

On 11- 07 we secured an arrest warrant on Jose Guzman, owner, and person in care and custody of these animals. He is charged with Cruelty to Livestock Animals/ Torture and was placed in San Jacinto County Jail without incident.

Special thanks to alert neighbors, Deputy Snipes, Mr. Pete and the great men and women from SPCA Houston for their assistance!

This is so very sad that these animals suffered like this…. Good job Deputy Snipes!

Now, I have a baseball bat I saved from TS Imelda and I’d really like a few moments alone with Mr. Guzman… 😐
