ATTEMPTED BURGLARY/ASSAULT

On 02-11-11, approximately 8:10 pm, Conroe Police officers were dispatched to a hold up alarm at a residence in the 3600 block of White Oak Dr.

Officers arrived and learned that an unknown white male had entered a portion of the residence that was under construction and assaulted the female homeowner. The suspect ran from the scene after other occupants of the residence activated the holdup alarm. The homeowner sustained non-life threatening injury during the assault. The motive, though never stated, was apparently burglary.

A short time after this assault, the white male suspect was seen in a local convenience store. He had fresh scratch marks on his face, above his left eye and to the neck area. The suspect was scratched as the victim attempted to fight him off. The suspect was seen leaving the convenience store in a dark blue or black Chevy Silverado pickup truck.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years in age. He is 6’01 to 6’03, with a medium build. He has short brown hair, thick eyebrows, and discolored teeth. He should have scratch marks on his face and neck area.

Anyone with any information should contact Investigator Eddie Davis at 936-522-3237.
