Just after 3:00 a.m. Conroe Police were dispatched to a female walking near the intersection of FM 1314 and Loop 336 wearing shorts and sandals. Units were just moments away and when they arrived they found a white female with long reddish brown hair lying in the middle of the westbound lane of Loop 336 just east of FM 1314. Approximately two hundreds feet beyond that point they found a heavily damaged Chevrolet Cobalt with extensive damage to the windshield area.
The driver of the vehicle Alyssa Marie Galanos, age 22, of Conroe was taken to Conroe Regional Hospital for a mandatory blood draw and the District Attorney’s Office was seeking Intoxicated Assault charges against her. Neither her or her passenger were injured and just had some windshield glass land on them.
The female that was struck had no identification on her. The only identifying mark was a small heart tattoo on her upper chest area. She was later identified as Michell Ramos Rodriguez, age 38, of Willis.
The Loop was closed for almost three hours as Conroe Police continued their investigation. Fingerprints were taken from the deceased victim in an attempt to identify her through the Montgomery County database.
