Auto vs. fence


SHORTLY AFTER 5PM CONROE POLICE WERE DISPATCHED TO FM1314 JUST SOUTH OF CRIGHTON ROAD FOR A SINGLE CAR INJURY ACCIDENT. ANDREW RIPORTELLA, AGE 23 OF CONROE WAS TRAVELING NORTH ON FM1314 WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE, TRAVELED ACROSS THE SOUTHBOUND LANES THEN STRIKING A FENCE AT THE HOME OF SOUTHWIND RIDGE HOMEOWNER. THE VEHICLE CONTROLLED THROUGHT THE BACKYARD MISSING TWO DOGS THEN CRASHED THROUGH THE SIDE FENCE AND OUT INTO THE WOODS. HE WAS NOT SERIOUSLY INJURED BUT HIS FATHER WHO ARRIVED ON THE SCENE AGREED THAT HE WAS LUCKY. PIECES OF THE FENCE PIERCED THE WINDSHIELD ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. MCHD TRANSPORTED THE VICTIM TO HERMAN WOODLANDS IN STABLE CONDITION. SHOWCASE WRECKER DRIVERS SPENT OVER THIRTY MINUTES TRYING TO RETRIEVE THE CAR FROM THE WOODS.
