BBQ Benefit for area officer

SPRING- A respected Harris County Pct. 4 deputy constable is battling stage 4 colon and abdominal cancer, but that isn’t his only worry. Unfortunately, 32-year-old Deputy Matt Finley and his family are also battling the tremendous financial burden that comes with such an illness.

A barbecue benefit with live and silent auctions, live music and a DJ will be held on Saturday to honor Deputy Finley and to assist him and his family with the growing mountain of bills.

Where: Papa’s Icehouse, 314 Pruitt Rd, Spring 77380

When: Saturday, February 6, noon to 6 p.m.

Food: BBQ brisket plate $10

Raffle: $3 per ticket or 4 tickets for $10
Various items such as $100 gift card to BW3’s, Hooters Wing Party, etc. (Complete list available on Saturday) Winning tickets will be drawn each hour.

60/40 Raffle: $1 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5
(Winner will receive 40% of the total amount collected in this raffle)

Silent Auction: Bids in by 5pm. Various items available to view before bidding the day of the event.

Live Auction: 4 p.m.
Various items will be auctioned off the day of the event. 

Live music by: Lance Aldrich with other guest appearances… 

DJ music by: Tunes of Texas
