BENEFIT FOR ONE PARAMEDIC A GREAT SUCCESS

Bobby McMinn has been a paramedic for MCHD for over 28 years. He had a standard hip replacement surgery about eight months ago and got an infection. Several surgical procedures  later he is now on crutches and has at least one more surgery to go, probably more.

Nine different fire departments helped out with the “Fill The Can Benefit” Friday as well as former employees, current off duty and on duty employees, and people who didn’t even know Bobby; over 50 people in all. He will be off work for at least another three to four months.

In all the drive showed that people of Montgomery County do take care of their own. Bobby has helped save many lives, bring many lives into this world and been there for citizens in time of need day or night. In all the the total collected was over $31,000.

You can still take a check or cash to any Woodforest Bank location and ask it be deposited  to the “EMS Benefit Fund, Inc.” On the checks please put in the memo line, “FOR THE BENEFIT OF BOBBY MCMINN.”

Or you can give donations directly to Paul Gould, Stacey Cox, Mike Nicknish, or Carol Finnegan.
Checks can also be mailed to:
EMS Beneifit Fund, Inc.
