Friday morning around 10:30 AM a man walking his dog saw what he believed was a dead body in a drainage ditch in the area of Tangle Brush Drive and Green Haven Drive. When he investigated further he was certain that there was a dead person in the water.
The witness notified the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and patrol officers were dispatched to investigate.
When deputies arrived they found a dead body in a drainage ditch in about a foot of water. The body has not yet been removed and there has been no determination of the identity, race, gender, age, or cause of the death of the victim. Major Crimes Investigators are on the scene as well as Crime Scene Investigators.
