The body discovered Tuesday morning by a fisherman on Lake Conroe has been identified as Daryann Eugene Romine of Houston. Last night Precinct 1 Constables located his truck parked on the east end of the long bridge. There were no signs of foul play.
Romine was transported to Dallas for autopsy which was completed today. There were no immediate indications of a cause of death but drowning was not ruled out.
Just before 11am yesterday a fisherman discovered the body approximately one-fourth mile off the end of FM 830. North Montgomery County Fire responded as did MCHD and Precinct 1 Constables Lake Patrol. The victim was recovered and taken to Precinct 1 Lake Patrol’s docks where they were met by Montgomery County Detectives and a Texas Ranger.
