Just before noon, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a family disturbance on Pine Knot Road. Once there they had information that a male who was on location had made a bomb. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office was notified and responded with an explosives detection dog. Once there the dog did pick up on something. It was then they backed out of the house and notified Houston Police Department Bomb Squad who responded to the scene. After several hours of searching, they were unable to locate a device. However, with the dog picking up on a scent it is possible that a device or components may have been there at one point. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office continue to investigate. James Alister Gaskins of 27018 Pine Knott was taken into custody and charged with possessing a prohibited weapon and terroristic threat on a family member.
