Anthony Brook Thames, 28, of Dorchester, Massachusett’s was arrested by Montgomery County SWAT Team, U.S. Marshals and members of the Boston Police Departments Fugitive Apprehension Unit. He was in a mobile home at 13452 Bert Brown Road off FM 1314 just after 11:15p.m.Monday night. Thames is wanted in the connection with the murder of Raymond Lemar, 33 of Boston who was found by police after a shots fired call was dispatched. Lemar was found August 6 just before 5am in the morning at 405 Harrison Street near East Berkley on Boston’s South Side.The location was just a two blocks from the Boston District 4 South End substation.
Thames is now in the Montgomery County Jail awaiting extradition on charges of Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis stated, “I would like to extend out thanks to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals for their valuable assistance.”
