Today TCSO deputies engaged in a high-speed pursuit with Brandon Yates a known wanted felon! Yates was wanted on several felony charges out of Leon County. One for taking a baseball bat and assaulting a woman with it. Yates decided to flee in a vehicle at a high rate if speed. Deputy Alissa White was able to shoot his tires out while pursuing Yates at 100mph on FM 356. Yates’ tire went flat and he was still fleeing at speeds over 80mph. SGT Harrelson was able to pit maneuver Yates vehicle causing his vehicle to crash where a foot pursuit took place. Yates then discovers that Sgt Harrelson A/K/A Grasshopper is faster than he looks!
Great job to Deputy Alissa White and Sgt Harrelson for getting this criminal off the streets.
