BREAKING NEWS-BABY IN STOLEN CAR FOUND SAFE

HOUSTON – Police have found a 3-month-old baby abducted during a car theft in north Harris County at 15101 Blue Ash near Richey and Interstate 45. The infant is safe.

Precinct 4 deputies said Aeliyah Cook was in a 2005 Chevy Malibu in the 15000 block of Blue Ash around 11:20 a.m. when a woman jumped in and took off in the car.

Police said the infant was later left and found on the doorstep of an 80-year-old woman in the 7100 block of Vogel in northwest Houston between Acres Homes and Inwood Forest not far from the North Houston Police Command Center around 1 p.m.

The infant and her mother are going to Texas Children Hospital so the child could be checked for injuries.

The car and the suspect are still missing.

The car is silver and has Texas plates BL7V781.
