BREAKING NEWS-CARJACKING KIDNAPPING COMES TO END

Just before 8 pm a black male entered the church property on Dallie Sue and FM 2090 in Splendora and carjacked a vehicle with two women. One of the women he let out of the vehicle almost immediately   The second 64-year-old woman was pushed out of the vehicle at US 59 and FM 1314 at a slow speed. She was not injured. The male then drove to the Ravella Apartments in the 25700 block of Loop 494 in Kingwood where he abandons the vehicle. A female walking in the complex was his next victim as he snatched her keys to her Honda CRV and stole her vehicle. He drove to a church at Loop 494 and Ford Road in Porter. He walked into the church, telling people the world was coming to an end and needed to pray. MCSO, Splendora Police, Roman Forest  Police, and Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables were able to take him into custody. The male identified as Kevin Chambers, age 34 of Houston. The Montgomery County District Attorneys Office has accepted charges of unlawful restraint, aggravated assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
