According to a witness, it was 8:50 a.m. when two men were having a disagreement in front of the Cleveland Airport. A third man approached, and the altercation reportedly escalated. The third man left the area, but quickly returned with a shotgun and allegedly murdered one of the other men. According to the witness, the gunman reloaded and fired repeatedly, before fleeing the scene in a silver vehicle believed to be a Nissan.
The third man was completely unharmed and ran away to call 911 as the gunman fled.
