Around 3:30 p.m., the Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office Lake Patrol and North Montgomery County Fire Department responded to a drowning in Walden on Lake Conroe.
They arrived to learn a 21-year-old male dove off of a dock into about 5 feet of water and never came back up. The water was not clear, so those on location when he went under were unable to find and help him.
NMCFD put divers in the water and the victim was recovered within 10 minutes.
The name is withheld at this time pending notification of family members.
