Just after 11pm Sunday a Harris County Sheriff’s Department Detention Officer came out of his apartment in the 100 block of Hollow Tree to investigate a possible motor vehicle burglary. It was then that he was shot multiple times by 4 Hispanic males. Leaving him in the parking lot the four fled in a burnt orange Dodge pickup possibly with racing stripes down the back. Witnesses say the heard at least 8 shots. Due to weather Life Flight was unable to fly. The deputy was taken to Houston Northwest Medical Center in critical condition but believe the injuries to be non life threatening.
At this time multiple homicide detectives are on the scene investigating.
