MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- The missing 77-year-old Garland man whose car was abandoned in the driveway of Austin Elementary School on Hwy 105 E. Friday morning has been found about a mile from there, despite the extensive search on Friday.
Amazingly, he is ALIVE! There was concern due to the odd behavior exhibited by his disappearance from his home area near Dallas, because of the odd location his car was found, and many other reasons. However, initial reports are he was unharmed, but confused, tired, and asking for water when someone stumbled up him sitting in field of grass.
MCPR was on location and will have more information soon, but wanted to share this much information before the rest of the story was posted for all those who searched and those who prayed for the man and his family. These days, happy endings this sort of story with a person’s vehicle found without them, far from home, rarely have a happy ending. Let’s enjoy a win and not be negative about it! (Yes, I mean your comments… speaking to the perpetual negative and vicious commenters – just don’t do it – A family had the scare of their life and undoubtedly feared the worst after a couple of days passed, but today, we can all rejoice!)
