The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Kala Schuchardt.
The abducted 3-day-old boy’s name is Keegan Schuchardt.

UPDATE 4:05 p.m.
SOUTH COUNTY – Just after 3 p.m. a mother was shot and her infant kidnapped in the parking lot of the Northwoods Pediatric Center, located 25214 Borough Park Drive, just north of Sawdust Road.
Witnesses told police an adult black female (wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans) shot an adult white female multiple times. An adult black male snatched the victim’s baby and the pair fled with the infant in what is believed to be a light blue Lexus, with the female driving. Police are still searching for the vehicle as of this posting.
The victim was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital in critical condition.
All of Borough Park is shut down north of Sawdust Road. Please avoid the area.
