Breaking News: Squatters Caught selling off Possessions Deployed Soldier’s Belongings

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office has a couple in custody who were squatting in the home of a soldier who is deployed to Afghanistan and his wife is currently staying at Fort Hood. The pair was caught after a family member drove past and saw all the couple’s personal possessions including furniture, clothing and even family photos in the front yard with strangers rummaging through them and purchasing items from the couple who had taken over the house.

The only thing the squatters, both parolees, were not selling was what they brought into the home, which included a large amount of methamphetamine.
