Police, Fire and EMS are at Airtex Drive and Brundage Drive in North Harris County where a vehicle struck a man on a bicycle, critically injuring him, and then sped away. The man was pronounced dead on the scene moments ago. The vehicle is a black SUV, which now has frontend damage, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Deputies.
Deputies are now searching for the hit-and-run driver. Anyone with information should contact law enforcement immediately.
Avoid that intersection to avoid extensive delays and heavy traffic.
The identity of the cyclist has not been released pending notification of next-of-kin
