MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX 8:40 a.m.- Police are searching for a man who fled on foot after he was caught attempting to burglarize a pickup in the 27000 block of Short street in the City of Patton Village. The suspect stabbed the homeowner who caught him, and left him clinging to life as he ran into the woods, going toward Center Street.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are searching the area for the suspect and have brought in K9 units to assist in the manhunt. He’s described as a white male in his mid 30’s. He’s short, at about 5 feet 5 inches tall and he ‘s wearing a white tank top / muscle shirt (“wife beater”) and maroon shorts.
The victim has been transported to an area hospital by EMS.
Anyone who sees the suspect should call 911 immediately.
