Tuesday morning Caney Creek Fire and EMC Fire responded to a reported fire at the Apple Nail and SPA at 14756 FM 1485 in the Grangerland Area. Firefighters went on location with the building full of smoke but no fire. It was evident with the heavy smoke and heat damage that there had been a fire. Further investigation revealed a water line had broken and extinguished the blaze. The fire could have burned the complete complex. The Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office is investigating. There was no damage to adjoining businesses.
