On Monday, October 26, 2015, at approximately 4:20 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to an alarm call that was received at a business, Time Wise Food Store, in the 7800 block of Research Forest Drive, in The Woodlands, Texas.
Upon Deputies arrival, it was discovered that a vehicle had run through the front of the store and a burglary had occurred. Deputies, aware of the call, noticed two vehicles coming from the area of the burglary traveling together at a high rate of speed on Research Forest Drive. Deputies attempted to stop the two vehicles. One of the vehicles fled from Deputies and one vehicle stopped. The vehicle that fled continued for approximately 30 miles before crashing. A male juvenile, inside the vehicle, was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County juvenile facility in Conroe, Texas. The second vehicle was discovered to contain items that were stolen from the burglary on Research Forest Drive, along with a handgun and burglary tools. Five males were arrested from that vehicle and transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail Facility in Conroe, Texas.
The vehicle believed to be utilized to crash through the dispatched location was located near bye. The vehicle was discovered to be reported as stolen out of Harris County.
The investigation is on-going and investigators are in the process of reviewing evidence.
