Just before 2 a.m. Porter Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on Albert Drive in Porter. Reports also came in as possible victims trapped and MCHD also responded. The first fire units on the scene found the offices of C.R. Machine heavily involved in the fire including a work truck that was on fire.
New Caney and Splendora also responded to the scene and assisted in bringing the fire under control. Nobody was found inside and the owner arrived a short time later.. The cause of the fire will be determined by the Montgomery County Fire Marshal.
