MCSO PRESS RELEASE

On 04-29-2009, Patrol Deputies responded to a welfare check in the 16000 Blk. of Creighton Road in Conroe at approximately 1545 hours in reference to a welfare check. A family member had come to this location checking the welfare of Jack Milton Nixon W\M Dob: 08-21-62 because he had not shown up for work and had not been heard from him in several days. Upon patrol units arrival they found a badly decomposing body inside the residence believed to be that of Nixon. Patrol units called for Major Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene Units to arrive. Detectives began interviewing witnesses and determined that the last time Nixon was seen was Saturday, 4/24/2009 around 9 PM.

Two possible Suspects have been identified and detectives were able to locate Artemio Ochoa Jr. W\M Dob:10-12-1987 near his residence in Conroe. Ochoa was interviewed and admitted to taking part in beating the victim. Ochoa has been arrested and charged with Capital Murder and is currently incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail.

The second suspect is Raymond Santillian W\M Dob:11-30-1987. A warrant has been issued for Santillian for the offense of Captial Murder. It appears at this time that the victim and the suspects had a disagreement over money on Saturday.

This investigation is ongoing and MCSO Major Crimes Detectives are actively seeking Raymond Santillian.
