Sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. this morning car burglars struck several vehicles in the Caden Creek Subdivision in Porter. Montgomery County Deputies worked the area this morning taking reports and lifting fingerprints from at least three homes on Spear Valley.
The owner of a Nissan Titan pickup walked his dog last night and didn’t notice anything. This morning he discovered someone broke into his truck and destroyed the dashboard trying to get the radio out of the dashboard.
Just a few houses down a Ford Fusion sits on landscape rocks and a jack. All four of the factory tires and wheels are missing. The lug nuts left in the grass next to it.
Several more houses down deputies lift fingerprints from a Pontiac Grand Am in which they entered and stole the contents the owners purse as the car sat in the driveway. The purse was complete with cash, credit cards and keys That owner now is forced to rekey her vehicle, hoe and cancel her credit cards.
If anyone saw any activity last night they are asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
