GRIMES COUNTY, TX- On October 25, Grimes County Sheriff’s Office arrested Julia Chaidez for first-degree felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Chaidez’s bond was initially set at $250,000. The victim, Adrian Ramirez, then succumbed to his injuries, and the charge of first-degree Murder was added to Chaidez’s woes. Chaidez’s bond was then increased to $500,000.
The alleged stabbing incident, which occurred off of Hickory Hill involved a “domestic disturbance that escalated,” according to a Monday statement from Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell’s Office. The statement also said the investigation is ongoing, and they are not releasing additional information at this time.
