HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On January 3, deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a reported disturbance in the 7200 block of Foxtail Meadow Court.
Upon arrival, deputies identified the woman involved as 54-year-old Darlene Slaughter, a convicted felon. During the investigation, deputies discovered Slaughter had an active warrant for Assault, and she was taken into custody.
While being searched by a female deputy, Slaughter allegedly physically resisted and kicked the deputy, causing pain. After being transported to the jail, Slaughter allegedly punched a jailer in the face, also causing pain.
Further investigation revealed Slaughter was out on bond for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon at the time of this incident.
Darlene Slaughter was arrested and transported to the Harris County Jail, where she was booked on two counts of Assault on a Peace Officer. Her total bond was set at $90,000 out of the 496th District Court,”Constable Mark Herman said.
