At approximately 1:24 p.m. Wednesday afternoon deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Chase Bank located at the intersection of F.M. 1485 and US 59 in New Caney in reference to a bank robbery. Upon Deputies arrival they learned that a black male suspect with long “dreadlock” style hair entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller at this location did not comply and the suspect quickly fled the bank on foot with no money. There was no known direction or mode of travel observed.
