CHILD FOUND SAFE IN HOME WHERE TWO BODIES WERE FOUND

At 8:56 am Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and MCHD received a call for a welfare check in the Tamina Community in South Montgomery County. A report came to EMS that a person had not been heard from in several days. That person entered the home and found a male in a pool of blood, exited the home and called 911. MCSO units responded to the scene as MCHD stood by until an all clear was given for them to move in at 9:24am. They confirmed that Jaquise Williams, 23 and Akeen Russell, 24 were both deceased. One was found on the porch and the otth in a room. In addition, deputies found a 2-year-old child in another room. She was unharmed and was a daughter of one of the victims. On any scene of a violent nature policy requires medics and first responders to stage well enough away from the scene to prevent any injury to them. Once deemed safe they are requested in. At 5pm Eickenhorst Funeral Directors removed both victims and transported them to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. The child is with family. The scene devastated many in the close knit community of Tamina where just blocks away a fire tore through a home killing 3 children.
