About 6 p.m. MCHD was dispatched to a reported 4-year-old female struck by a vehicle on Brushy Wood Drive in far southwestern Montgomery County. EMS arrived on the scene and found the child conscious but a decision was made to fly the child to Texas Children’s in Houston. Life Flight 5 was dispatched to the scene as Tri-County Fire assisted Magnolia Fire Department on preparing a landing zone.
We are still awaiting details but early indications are a family member was moving a vehicle and did not see the child.
